Volunteer for CRF

CRF is dedicated to educating America's young people about the importance of civic participation in a democratic society.  Each year, over 800 volunteers contribute their time and abilities so that CRF can reach thousands of young people. CRF depends on volunteers like you who want to help CRF "educate tomorrow's citizens."  Thanks in advance for helping.

CRF and the Los Angeles County Bar (LACB) are collaborating on the LACB Dialogues program. Dialogues fosters conversation and debate focused on the preservation of American liberties and values. Volunteer lawyers and judges are needed to lead Dialogues sessions at high schools across Los Angeles County on March 16 and March 16, 2018. Your participation will provide students the chance to meet and interact with lawyers and judges, many for the first time, while engaging in lively and timely discussions about their constitutional rights and protections.

Mock Trial Volunteer Story

Coming out of law school, I never had much interest in coaching or working with high school students. I remain quite surprised by just how much I love it and consider myself both fortunate and grateful to have been involved with it. It has made me a better lawyer and given me something priceless: an extended family of 200 or more current and former students.

Participating in mock trial was, therefore, the best preparation I could have ask for as a junior associate.
